Conference Paper Submission Guidelines

Format of the Research Paper

  • Font Type: Tamil – Baamini/ English – Times New Roman
  • Font Size; Title 14 Bold/ Sub Title 12 Bold/  Body Text 12 Normal , abstract, title of figures and tables 10 normal
  • Line Spacing:1.5
  • margins: 2.5 cm
  • line spacing: 1.5
  • block alignment
  • Paragraph Indentation: Indent the first line of each paragraph by 0.5 inches.
  • Abstract:200- 250 words including 5 Key words (maximum)
  • Full Paper: 2500 – 3000 words (including references)
  • Paper Size: A4
  • Referencing Style: APA 7th Edition


 

Structure of the Research Paper

  • Abstract
  • Introduction
  • Methodology
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion 
  • References


 

Title: Clear and concise; centered in uppercase.

Author(s): Full name(s), centered, with affiliations and emails below.

Affiliations: Include department, institution, city, state, country.

 

TITLE (uppercase letters, center aligned, Tamil-Baamini/English-Times New Roman, 14pt, bold)

Abstract:

  • Length: 200-250 words.
  • Summarize key points of the paper (Baamini/Times New Roman 10pt, bloc-aligned).
  • Include 3-5 keywords, in alphabetical order, separated by commas (italicized) below the abstract (Baamini/Times New Roman 10pt, Italic, Block-aligned).

Introduction:

  • Clearly state the research problem and purpose.
  • Provide context and rationale for the study.
  • Introduce research questions/hypotheses.
  • Do not use subheadings.

Literature Review:

  • Review relevant literature to establish the background.
  • Highlight gaps or controversies.
  • Explain how your study contributes.

Methodology:

  • Provide enough details about the type of study, sampling, data collection methods, variables, conceptual framework, and hypotheses.
  • For qualitative studies, the methods section may be modified to fit the specific needs of the study.
  • The methods section may not be applicable to conceptual and literature review papers.

 

Results and Discussion:

  • The results and discussion section is a critical part of a research paper.
  • It should be divided into subsections or combined, depending on the specific needs of the study.
  • Tables and figures can be used to present the results in a clear and concise way where appropriate.
  • The findings of the study should be interpreted in relation to the research questions.
  • The implications and contributions of the findings should be discussed.
  • The limitations of the study should be addressed and future research should be suggested.

 

Conclusion:

  • Summarize the key points of the study without introducing new information.
  • Restate the importance of the study 
  • Discuss the contributions of the study to the field of research.

References:

  • List all sources cited in the paper.
  • Arrange references alphabetically by the author's last name.
  • Use hanging indent for each reference.
  • Follow APA 7th edition guidelines for formatting references.
