Learning and Teaching through Performance on Thenmoody Kooththu in Kokkadicholai

Training on ‘nondinadakam’ known as ‘Thenmoody kooththu’ is being given to special degree students of Fine Arts, FAC, EUSL by P.Kathirkamanathan (Annaviyar) under the guidance of Mr.S.Chandrakumar, Head , Dept. of Fine Arts in the title of ‘learning and teaching through Performance’ on Thenmoody kooththu (Form of traditional theatre performance of Batticaloa region) activity with social participation.’ Training on this kooththu with social participation was organized in the vaalkattu area of Kokkatichcholai on 1st, 2nd & 3rd of February, 2019. It is worthy to note that the students have been trained on this kooththu by M.Ponnampalam annaviyar, the most experienced and talented artiste on nondi kooththu. Mr.S.Chandrakumar Who is created concept of the performance centered Learning, taught in the practice time.
