The above event was organized and facilitated by Mr.S.Chandrakumar, Senior Lecturer in Fine Arts on 01.03.2017 under the theme of Learning and Teaching by curriculum based performing at the Eastern University.

“Makidi Kooththu” (One of the Traditional Performing Artistic forms in Batticaloa Region) facilitated & coordinated by S.Chandrakumar, Senior Lecturer from Dept. of Fine Arts was staged at the day of 22.02.2017 in front of the Eastern University Senate Building. Students of the Department of Fine Arts were participated as a performer. Students were reached to Vantharumoolai from University under the teaching and guidelines of the Mr.S.Chanrakumar for training in three months. S.Chandrakumar had performed as a character of police.
